Advanced Wreath Theory

Here is another wreath I plan on trying that I found a website called Crap I've Made. I will definitely be trying this one. However, I have always found that anything that involves a hot glue gun leads to lots of frustrration so I will wait until I get a few more projects under my belt.

I am feeling so crafty lately. I found this project idea at A Little Tipsy and thought it was super cute. All the patriotic holidays are over, but I think I can make a super cute one for Easter in fun pastel colors. Keep an eye out!

Since my Autumn wreath was such a success, I have decided to try a new medium of wreath making. Here is a pic I stole from another blog I like to read called Six Inches of Ribbon. The toughest part will be picking out the fabric. I have some left over scraps from our curtains so maybe I can find some scraps to match at JoAnn's. I'll post the pics of how to do it once I finish it. In the meantime marvel at someone else's.

Frame Collage

I have been wanting to make a frame collage for a while. Honestly, I just threw it up there and didn't measure or anything. I think it's ok.

I Made a Wreath!

Lately, I have been browsing Etsy looking at wreaths for our front door. They are pretty pricey so I decided I would give it a try by myself. I think I did a pretty good job. Here are the pics of my progress.

Birthday, birthday, what to say?

It's my birthday month! I remember when I actually used to be excited about that. Now, I'm just getting old. All the birthday month means is I am that much closer to 30. Blah. I will say I am very grateful for my husband because he will always be 2.5 years older than me and I will always be younger than him. Plus he will be able to let me know how the thirties feel for 2 whole years before I get there. We are trying to start a tradition of always going our of town for my birthday. Last year we had the cruise and this year we are going here!
