Meet the Editor

Sometimes in my passion for blogging I get a little overexcited and make a few errors in my writing. I think we all do. Luckily, I have my friend Dianna to keep a look out for me and make sure my blog makes some sense. Here is a little about Dianna and her exciting life abroad. I told you I was getting quite international :-). My personal favorite is Dianna's Weekly Dash of Different Diction. I love learning how people say different things all over the world. I hope you check out her blog and give it a follow if you like it as much as I do!

My name is Dianna and I’m 24 and living in Edinburgh, Scotland. I’m originally from Silver Spring, Maryland in the US but I moved here in September to get my master’s degree in European Studies. I love to read, write, and travel. So far I’ve been to Scotland, England, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands.

My blog, Dianna the Explorer, is about my explorations across the world. But it’s not just about travelling in the literal sense. It’s about exploring all new things whether that’s a new activity, new place and culture, new food, new way of life, or a new book.

Some examples of this is how last Christmas I decided to make hand-sewn Christmas stockings for my friends and family without ever really sewing before and I’m always sharing new words or phrases I’ve learned in Dianna’s Weekly Dash of Different Diction. I’m currently exploring how to hand knit a blanket which I’ve labelled the Weekend Wrap Up.
