I have long admired the topiaries my blogging friends have made, and I finally decided to try to make my own. I's pretty cute for a first try I must say. I still have a long way to go, but I am pretty pleased with this one. The biggest lesson I have learned is that I should have painted the styrofoam ball first. Oh well, better luck next time.
Oh, and I used the leftover foam hearts for some 3-D specimen art!

I got the hearts at Hobby Lobby. They were actually a little box of heart ornaments and I snipped off the thread. Thanks for your comments!
Clearly I should ahve painted the foam ball before decorating. But hey, this was my first time. Better next time!
