My Cousin is on the Food Network!

I've posted about my beautiful cousin Rachael a few times on my blog, but I've gained quite a few followers since then so I'll tell you a little about her. Rachael is the founder and owner of Intricate Icings Cake Designs in Erie Colorado. She is a total inspiration to me! She started decorating cakes in her mid-twenties after taking a few classes at Michaels. She realized she really had a talent for it and went to some more advanced seminars and started baking cakes out of her home. She won numerous competitions and accolades and her business took off!

She has grown her home business into a thriving bakery and has now made her second appearance on  the Food Network's Challenge- Extreme Cakes. It is still so surreal for me to see her on TV. The episode originally aired Sunday, but you can catch her again on Tuesday evening. Great job Rach!

Here are a few pictures of her gorgeous designs!

Her episodes always air when I'm away! Didn't her first one air about the day I left? No fair! I LOVE the globe one!!

She did really well this time so I think she will be back again. They tape like a million years in advance so the next one will probably air when you get back!
